And once they have begun treatment with positive results, then they start to loose their discipline. They forget to take medications; start eating more sugary foods; don't feel like exercising. Before you know it, their blood glucose is high again - back to square one.
Unfortunately, this behavior occurs with many people. We also see it in "yo-yo" dieters.
