Holiday calorie survival

I try to eat something at home before I go to parties. I generally try not to go hungry. If I do, it's all over, I stuff myself and then have guilt and regrets afterwards. If I have a healthy snack before I head off, then I have much more control and do a better job of grazing rather than "stuffing". That's what works for me.
